This map of Bali shows the principal tourist regions of Bali Indonesia.
Bali is a small island in Indonesia. The principal tourist areas of Bali
are the surf region on the south west of the island which incorporates Kuta,
Legian and Seminyak. This location is the shopping hub of the island. The hotels
and resorts in these areas are popular as they are usually only a short walk
to the surf action of Bali.
Opposite the "Kuta" region and just a short bemo ride are the hotels
of Sanur and Nusa Dua. Most of these hotels are situated on the beach and are
popular with young families as the waters are calmer and safer for children.
There are also some remote locations such as Ubud where you can escape the
hustle and bustle of the shopping districts and take in the natural beauty of
Bali and it's friendly people.
