The heart of the Hotel Tjampuhan Spa Bali is the former home of Walter Spies, offering comfort and seclusion with first-class facilities. Hotel Tjampuhan Spa Bali set into the hillside on a separate terrace and overlooking a lily pond.

Situated in a beautiful, tranquil location in the green hills overlooking the Oost River, and surrounded by lotus ponds and fascinating temples, the Tjampuhan is a place where you can discover traditional Bali. The first class hotel was once an artist's colony headed by famous German artist Walter Spies.

Facilities also include a bar and restaurant and 2 swimming pools, one of which uses natural spring water. The new Spa is uniquely situated in a grotto overlooking the Oost River valley.

Simple Balinese-style bungalows, with a bedroom and verandah, are set amongst tropical gardens. The Agung rooms are fan-cooled while the Raja rooms are air-conditioned. The emphasis at Hotel Tjampuhan and Spa is on the Balinese touch, with as little Western influence as possible.
